Compost Toilet

A bit of luxury in a rural eco-community

Spending a month at the excellent Project Kamp experimental eco-community started by Dave Hakkens and Rita in central Portugal, while helping build various other infrastructure and with a little help from everyone there I designed, sourced materials and built them a spacious, comfortable composting toilet. The cherries on top are a beautiful recycled plastic toilet seat made and donated by the wonderful folks at Studio SMELT and a chewy candy looking recycled plastic handle made and donated by the dynamic duo Adrián and Julie from Fair Enough.
